Friday 16: The Cambodian Space Project return to Phnom Penh for two shows only, the first is this Friday at Equinox Bar, from 9 pm. Another successful trip to the US under their belt. Watch out for a special Expresso Thmei show also at Equinox later in the month.

The Sunday Sundowner Sessions have now moved to the Alley Cat Cafe as part of their move back into venue-dom, with the slight change of running from 5 pm to 8 pm (which catches their happy hour…). Come feast with friends! Acoustic music by Scoddy and guests, every Sunday, off St 19, behind the Royal University of Fine Arts.

Tuesday 20: WASH returns with new material, a piece entitled The Next Horizon. This appearance is part of the ViBE Music Festival at Doors, on Cnr 47 and 84. Friday 9: The brand new Riverside Raybans, all about acoustic grooves and groovy rhythms and keeping the vocals lush. Ukulele James Speck, Luis Arambarri, Adrien Gayraud join me in a grab bag of fun, featuring lots of JJ Cale and originals. Paddy Rice, Sisowath & 136, from 9 pm.

Sundays at Rubies are no more, as Rubies is no more, but very soon we will have a new venue for our Sundowner Sessions. Watch this space (and other spaces, obviously).

A chance for uke players of all levels, from beginner to over-achiever, to come and share, learn, show off, whatever… over a civilised drink or two. Thursday 21: Bywater @ Baitong, a kind of open mic, may contain traces of Sonando, Baitong, #7, St 360, 7.30 – 10.30 pm.  Last week was a great start, hoping to get more great singers and performers behind the mic this week.  Also some new original songs.

Friday 22: Cambodian Space Project at Equinox (St 278), 9.30 pm to late – last show in Phnom Penh for some time!   Western Australia shows next weekend, then Melbourne artistic residency.  After that, Scandinavia and more, before Singapore!

Saturday 23: The Lazy Drunks, Sharky (St 130) from 9.30 pm.  Hoping to have some new repertoire here, too.

Sunday 24: Sunday Sundowner Sessions with Scoddy and guests at Rubies Wine Bar (240 & 19 Sts), 4 pm – 7.30 pm.  Had to miss last Sunday, but I hear it was a blast.   With or without PA for the moment…..
